The company stood out among global contenders as the sole green energy enterprise to receive this prestigious accolade, marking a milestone in its efforts to build a people-centric workplace.

Organized by Business Media International (BMI), the HR Asia awards are the gold standard for employer branding in the Asia-Pacific region. This year’s event brought together over 60 leading corporations and 1,000 HR executives and industry leaders from sectors such as finance, manufacturing, and mining. Among the two mining companies shortlisted, Huayou Cobalt was the only representative from the green energy sector, underscoring its leadership in aligning business growth with employee welfare.

The ceremony was opened by Datuk William Ng, Group Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of HR Asia and a prominent figure from Malaysia.
